PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL panel excellent in air tightness of a substrate and a sealing member, having a long life and a high reliability. SOLUTION: On the organic EL panel, a lamination body composed of an organic layer including a first electrode and at least a light emitting layer and a second electrode is formed on the substrate, and the sealing member is formed on the substrate through an adhesive so as to cover the lamination body, and a protection wall is formed at an area on the substrate not covered by the sealing member so as to extend along a jointed part jointed to the sealing member by the adhesive.
