PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching-on display by which the switching-on state of an electric apparatus can be perceived at a glance from a remote place without adding any alteration on the electric apparatus, with respect to the switching-on display displaying switching-on state of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A current detecting element is connected in series to an electric apparatus, and by this current detecting element, alternating current flowing in the electric apparatus is detected and a switching circuit is operated. This switching circuit is connected in series to a display for displaying the switching-on state of the electric apparatus. Further, the switching circuit and the display connected in series are connected in parallel to the electric apparatus. By the operation of the switching circuit, the display is lighted while current is flowing in the electric apparatus, and the display is turned off while the current is not flowing in the electric apparatus.
