END SEAL STRUCTURE FOR REFUSE-COLLECTION VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end seal structure for a refuse-collection vehicle capable of enhancing sealing property in a drum. SOLUTION: The end seal structure for the refuse-collection vehicle is provided with a drum end 16 provided on a rear end of the drum 53; and an annular seal gap 58 formed between a drum end 16 and an end plate 54. The structure is provided with an annular seat plate 1 and an annular sponge packing 2 interposed in a row between the drum end 16 and the end plate 54; a packing bonding means for bonding the sponge packing 2 and the seal plate 1 each other; a seal removal-stop press plate (seal removal-stop press member) 6 bonded to an inner peripheral end of the seal plate 1; and an engagement mechanism 60 for engaging the seal removal-stop press plate 6 with the end plate 54 and is made to a constitution that the seal plate 1 is pressed to the drum end 16 by resilient restoration force of the sponge packing 2.
