PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an accidental sound generating every paper feeding and to prevent delay of the first print time, in a paper feeder using a stepping motor in a paper feeding driving source. SOLUTION: The first starting is performed with one hold, and starting in retrying of the paper feeding is performed with two holds.
