PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device of a forklift capable of reducing a load charged on a slide arm or a guide roller when the baggage is gripped by right and left clampers. SOLUTION: In the clamping device 10 of the forklift 1, respective arm side guide rollers 12Q contacting with guide rails 11G(L) and 11G(R) in a clamp base 11 are disposed in upper and lower slide arms 12S in the right and left clampers 12L and 12R, and rail side guide rollers 11Q contacting with the slide arms 12S are disposed in the guide rails 11G(L) and 11G(R) for guiding the right and left clampers 12L and 12R in the clamp base 11. As the right and left clampers 12L and 12R are made to mutually approach from the maximum opening width to the minimum opening width, the inter-axis distance between the arm side guide roller 12Q and the rail side guide roller 11Q is extended.
