PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminates the troublesome work of spreading wet tissues which a conventional tissue roll container produces, i. e. when a wet tissue roll is pulled out from its center end through a small wet tissue taking out opening, it is converged into a string form and needs to be spread. SOLUTION: This container for a wet tissue roll R whose wet tissue taking out opening 3 for pulling out the outer peripheral end Sa of the wet tissue roll R is formed on the body part 11 of a container body 1, where the outer peripheral face of the roll R corresponds to. By making the opening 3 is wide enough to enable pulling out of the tissue substantially in a spreading condition in the width direction, continuous wet tissue spread can be pulled out in the width direction.
