PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding container capable of enhancing the mounting workability of an ID tag on a side wall by mounting the ID tag on the side wall only by moving the ID tag in the direction of one vertical rib located on a free end side of an elastic tongue piece while passing the ID tag through a slit for inserting the ID tag. SOLUTION: In the folding container, a space A1 for an ID tag is formed of a pair of horizontal ribs 3e1 facing each other and a pair of vertical ribs 3f1 facing each other which are formed on an outer face of an elastically deformable thin-walled plate-like part 3a of a side wall 3, and an elastic tongue piece E1 having a locking projection part e2 is formed on the plate-like part located in the space for the ID tag. A bridging vertical rib 3g is formed between the elastic tongue piece and one vertical rib located on a free end e1 side of the elastic tongue piece so as to bridge the pair of horizontal ribs facing each other, and a slit S2 for inserting the ID tag is formed between the bridging vertical rib and the plate-like part.
