PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat loss of fuel existing in a pressurized reservoir. SOLUTION: The fuel supply device of an internal combustion engine driven by heavy oil is equipped with at least one high pressure reservoir. Heated fuel is led into respective cylinders of an internal combustion engine from the high pressure reservoir through the medium of a valve. The high pressure reservoir has an internal pressure reservoir (1) for accommodating fuel under a pressure state and a casing (4) for surrounding the pressure reservoir (1) and forming a hollow space (5) in a gap with the pressure reservoir (1). At least a part of the hollow space (5) is provided with fluid having the temperature substantially coincident with the temperature of fuel to be injected at least. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
