PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tar sludge treatment method and a coal loading vehicle that retain high productivity of coke furnace operation, high yield rate of coke production and enables effective recycling of tar sludge. SOLUTION: Coking coal 100 is charged in a carbonization chamber 12, then the coking coal 100 is leveled with a leveler 17 on the surface and tar sludge 200 is introduced into the carbonizing chamber 12. Thereby coking coal layers and tar sludge layers are clearly separated in the carbonization chamber. In this case, the charge of the tar sludge 200 into the carbonizing chamber is preferably carried out immediately after dry distillation. When the tar sludge 200 is charged into the carbonization chamber, the tar sludge stored in a tar sludge tank 2 that is arranged in the coal loading vehicle 11 is charged via distributing headers 4.
