PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PVP-fullerene composite, which exhibits fullerene characteristics under non-halogen conditions and has excellent stability and safety measures, and also to provide an aqueous solution of the same. SOLUTION: The preparation process of the aqueous solution of a composite of a fullerene or a fullerene mixtures and polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP) comprises mixing an aromatic hydrocarbon solution of a fullerene or fullerene mixtures with an ethanol solution of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, adding water to the mixed solution and removing solvents from the solution.
