PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching section device capable of excellently reducing the charges of a capacitor and reducing an installation space. SOLUTION: The switching section device comprises a capacitor 11 with one end thereof connected to a middle section 1, a reactor 12 with one end thereof connected to the other end of the capacitor 11 and the other end thereof connected to a rail 7 or the ground electric potential, a first resistor 13 connected to the reactor 12 in parallel, a transformer 14 with one end of a primary winding connected to one end of the capacitor 11, and a second resistor 15 with one end thereof connected to the other end of the primary winding and the other end thereof connected to the capacitor 11. The accumulated charges of the capacitor 11 do not load the first resistor 13 because a closed circuit is constituted of the capacitor 11, the primary winding of the transformer 14 and the second resistor 15, and the charges are rapidly decreased through the second resistor 15. In addition, a voltage measurement instrument is connected to the secondary side of the transformer 14 to measure the voltage of the middle section 1 as necessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
