PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for a bicycle generater capable of shortening a length of a controller wire, reducing its cost, preventing the wire from being substantially curved and preventing any disadvantage caused by the substantial curved state of the wire. SOLUTION: This remote controller comprises a generator 3 turned by a biasing means 15 in a horizontal direction and biased to cause a driven wheel 3 to be abutted against either a tire 20 of a bicycle 1 or its rim, and a wire 8 connected to the generator 3 at its one end, connected at the other end to an operating unit 6 installed at a handle bar 5 of the bicycle 1 to tension or pull the driven wheel 13 under an operation of the operating unit 6 against a biasing force of the biasing means 15 in a direction moving away from either the tire 20 or the rim.
