PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella with an umbrella cover in which the umbrella cover does not become an obstacle at the time of putting up the umbrella without the risk of losing the umbrella cover. SOLUTION: The umbrella 1 with the umbrella cover is provided with a flexible umbrella cover 3 whose both ends are opened and the umbrella 2, the tip part 23 of the umbrella 2 is inserted into an opening part 31 on one end side of the umbrella cover 3 and the detachment of the tip part 23 from the opening part 31 is made impossible. A part 25 to be locked is provided on the front surface of an umbrella cloth part 21 of the umbrella 2, and a locking part 34 which can be locked to the part 25 to be locked is provided on the back side of the peripheral wall part 33 of the umbrella cover 3. By expanding the peripheral wall part 33 to the side of the handle 24 of the umbrella 2 in the state of closing the umbrella 2, the umbrella cloth part 21 is roughly covered with the umbrella cover 3 and the locking part 34 is arranged at a position roughly facing the part 25 to be locked.
