PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fraud detecting method and mechanism of Pachinko capable of detecting a fraud by a comparison with the count number of put-out balls in a predetermined special prize condition by a variable display device. SOLUTION: A Pachinko machine, on condition that a hit ball enters a start chucker provided on a game board, operates a variable display device, when a predetermined special prize condition is satisfied, opens a large winning hole by a special prize signal transmitted for an electronic control board, and provides the special win condition advantageous for a player. When the predetermined prize condition is satisfied in a start detecting means 15 detecting the winning/failure of the hit ball to the start chucker and the variable display device, an electronic control part 11 compares the presence/absence of the start by the start detecting means 15 to detect the fraud.
