PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanching cultivation implement for plants with which a proper time for harvesting can be quickly decided without taking off the blanching cultivation implement to confirm the plants during a cultivation term, aiming at labor-saving of works, improvement in cultivation work efficiency, and prevention of deformity, and performing excellently qualified blanching in blanching cultivation using the blanching cultivation implement for plants. SOLUTION: The blanching cultivation implement for plants has the following structure: the upper part of a hollow and cylindrical supporting member made of a shading material and having opening parts at its both ends is covered with a movable member made of a shading material and pushed up while leaving the implement to pressing power based on elongation of the stalk part of the plant. The implement is arranged so as to cover the plant body at an early time of germination of the plant so that the plant grows inside the blanching cultivation implement, and the movable member is pushed up via the pressing power of the plant to be moved upwards when the plant grows and exceeds the length of the supporting member, and thereby the proper time for harvesting can be determined.
