PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and precisely movably dispose an interlocking means, such as an opening or closing interlocking mechanism, working on a planting cup in interlock with the vertical movement of the planting cup, between a planting cup-driving mechanism side and the planting cup. SOLUTION: This transplanter which has the first rotator 161 rotatably supported on a machine frame side and the second rotator 162 rotatably supported on the free end side of the first rotator 161, rotates the second rotator 162 in the direction opposite to that of the first rotator 161 in interlock with the rotation of the first rotator 161, and vertically movably supports the planting cup 155 on the free end side of the second rotator 162, is characterized by supporting a vertically moving member 163 relatively rotated in the direction opposite to that of the second rotator 162 on the free end side of the second rotator 162 to vertically move without rotation in interlock with the rotation of the first rotator 161, and disposing an interlocking means for working on the planting cup 155 in interlock with the vertical movement of the vertical moving member 163, between the vertical moving member 163 and the planting cup 155.
