A clamping system for the beam welding of overlapping coated metal sheets (4-6) comprises two movable jaws (2, 3) which can be fixed at a specific distance (7) from each other. Each jaw has a surface (11, 18) which fits against the outer sheets, a projecting section (13, 20) which passes through an aperture (9, 16) in an outer sheet and fits against the central sheet (5) and a second projecting section (8, 15) which passes through the same aperture and an aperture (10, 17) in a central sheet and fits against the inner side of the other outer sheet. |
