A METHOD FOR ACCESSING HOME SUBSCRIBER SERVER IN UNIVERSAL AUTHENTICATION INFRASTRUCTURE

The invention discloses a method for accessing the home subscriber server in universal authentication infrastructure. The key is, adding a new operation on BSF in universal authentication infrastructure, i.e., BSF determines the type of the received user identification information. If it's IMPI, BSF transmits a message containing IMPI of requesting subscriber description information; if it's IMSI, BSF transforms IMSI to IMPI, then transmits a message containing the transformed IMPI of requesting subscriber description information; if it's a temporary identification or reauthentication identification, BSF returns a failure message with reason value to the user. Application of the invention makes the user equipment that have no function of transforming IMSI to IMPI also can use universal authentication infrastructure, and thereby extends the application range of universal authentication infrastructure. The invention is facile to realization and easy to application.
