<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device in which electric power consumption at the energy-saving standby time is reduced for the whole of a system containing PCs and MFPs to enable lives of MFP electric sources to increase. <P>SOLUTION: In the transition to an energy-saving standby state, if it is possible to feed USB bus power, a start factor monitor and an energy-saving standby state voltage controller are driven by USB bus power, while if it is not possible to feed USB bus power, those are driven by a main electric source. So as to realize these conditions, a supply voltage to an on-off controller of the main electric source and that to a voltage supplying section of the start factor monitor are controlled by the energy-saving standby state voltage controller. Further, when the start factor monitor detects a return factor from the energy-saving standby state to a normal operational state at the energy-saving standby time, by a voltage from the main electrical source, the transition is made to the normal state in which the image processing device is driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
