POLYMER HEATING ELEMENT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer heating element having flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The polymer heating element comprises a base supporter 2, a cover supporter 5, a pair of electrodes 3 sandwiched between the base supporter 2 and the cover supporter 5, and a polymer resistor 4 formed between the pair of electrodes 3. At least one of the base supporter 2, the cover supporter 5 and the polymer resistor 4 contains a flame retardant component whose mass change rate at raised temperatures of 200°C or higher is 0.5% or lower.
