摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device performing a quantitative diagnostic imaging of the interior of the cardiovascular at a low cost in a short time of period. SOLUTION: This device obtains angiotomogram based on the reflected wave of ultrasonic beams irradiated from an ultrasonic probe installed in a catheter inserted in the blood vessel. This angiotomographic device is provided with (1) a means of irradiating the blood vessel wall whole circumference with the ultrasonic beams while rotating the ultrasonic probe, observing an ultrasonic echo form the blood vessel wall and analyzing Doppler shift frequency generated by Doppler effect, (2) a means of adding the Doppler shift frequency from a certain irradiation direction and the direction of 180°thereto for removing the Doppler shift frequency depending on the movement around the catheter by the effect of the pulsation out of the Doppler shift frequencies and removing the effect of the movement around the catheter, and (3) a means of A/D converting the ultrasonic frequency, analyzing it by a computer image information processor and displaying the image.
