PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that though it is possible to gradually judge the danger level of a visitor by an interphone, it is impossible to judge whether or not any suspicious person is intruding, and it is defenseless against the intruding suspicious person. SOLUTION: This self-propelled cleaner generates map information while wandering about in a room for cleaning in steps S400 to S422, and when passing through the neighborhood of a marker 85, it adds the location information to the map information. The marker 85 is configured to specify the arrangement position or stand-by position of a master device 93 of an interphone. In an alarm mode, this self-propelled cleaner judges whether or not an alarm operation instruction has been received from the master device 93 in a step S442, and moves to a stand-by position in a step S444, and detects whether or not any suspicious person is intruding by a body sensor 21 in a step S448. As the intrusion of the suspicious person is detected, the self-propelled cleaner encounters the suspicious person in a step S452, and instructs photographing in a step S454, and acquires photographic image data in a step S456, and transmits the photographic image data by radio LAN in a step S458.
