PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately make a color management of image forming apparatus installed at base points by managing the color profiles of the image forming apparatus through a managing server, comparing the color profiles of the image forming apparatus with a reference standard, and reporting the comparison result. SOLUTION: An error calculator 1c in a managing server 1 calculates the difference between the error of a measured value of a color chart Pa outputted from an output unit 3a from a reference value and the average of the errors of measured values of color charts Pb, Pc outputted from other output units 3b, 3c from the reference value, based on the measured values of the color charts Pa-Pc stored in a measured value storage 1b and the reference value, upon receipt of a request to correctly diagnose the color profile of the output unit 3a from a terminal 2a, and a diagnosis result reporter 1g instructs the terminal 2a to indicate that the profile of the output unit 3a is proper or improper according to the difference is less than a managing reference or not, respectively.
