PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-pole circuit breaker having a current transformer detecting a fed current in a branch circuit and taking out a signal according to the fed current outside in a thin branch switch developed in recent years. SOLUTION: This two-pole circuit breaker has: a switching mechanism provided with a contact device comprising a moving contact provided with a movable contact point and a fixed contact provided with a fixed contact point making a pair with and facing the movable contact point in a current passage from a power terminal to a load terminal, and switching the contact device; and a pull-out means acting on the switching mechanism to open the movable contact point when an overcurrent occurs. The two-pole circuit breaker is also provided with: covers divided in a longitudinal direction to face each other to constitute a body shell: and the current transformer for detecting the fed current to pass through a part of the current passage of one of electrodes. An output means taking out the output signal of the current transformer outputted according to the fed current to the outside of the breaker is provided in a container body.
