PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize quick time search with a simply configured information reproducing device in an information recording medium such as an optical disk which can record image, voice, and the like, with high density. SOLUTION: In DVD1, multiple VOBUs consisting of image information, access information, and the like, and multiple cells consisting of a series of the VOBUs aligned along a recording track are classified, and unit time address information in which the information is recorded on the recording track records is recorded on a designated position with a discrete flag. A system controller 100 checks the discrete flag when search is designated. When the time unit address corresponding to the search target time is in a position continuing within the cell, this time unit address is set as the preliminary search target. When discontinuous, coincidence with second data group including this time unit address and the second data group including the address corresponding to the target time is determined, the VOBU search information is read and a pickup 80 is moved.
