PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position detection system which controls the position of a vehicle and detects also the position of a vehicle at low cost. SOLUTION: A control server 60 transmits a predetermined tag code to wireless stations 10, 20, 30, 40. The wireless stations 10, 20, 30, 40 receive the predetermined tag code and transmit predetermined wireless information correlated with the tag code. A wireless tag 50 receives the predetermined wireless information and transmits a tag ID stored in advance. The wireless stations 10, 20, 30, 40 receive the tag ID and transmit the tag ID and a wireless station ID stored in advance to the control server 60. The control server 60 receives them and detects the allocation of a vehicle having the wireless tag 50 storing the received tag ID within predetermined communications areas 10a, 20a, 30a, 40a of the wireless stations 10, 20, 30, 40 storing the received wireless station ID.
