PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection apparatus having high accuracy in detecting the angle of rotation of a rotator without having to change the circuit size of a computing means on a rotation angle detection apparatus. SOLUTION: The computing means 3 comprises a rotation angle computing part 5 for computing and storing the direction of rotation and angle of rotation of the rotator 1 on the basis of a detection signal a of an angle detection means 2 for detecting the angle of rotation of the rotator 1; a rotating speed computing part 6 for computing the rotating speed of the rotator 1; and a rotation angle correction part 7 connected to the rotation angle computing part 5 and the rotating speed computing part 6.
