ACTIVITY EVALUATION METHOD OF DESULFURIZATION CATALYST, AND SCREENING METHOD OF DESULFURIZATION CATALYST USING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activity evaluation method of a desulfurization catalyst capable of evaluating accurately and quickly desulfurization activity of the desulfurization catalyst, and contributing greatly to accurate and quick screening of the desulfurization catalyst when developing the desulfurization catalyst or the like, and a screening method of the desulfurization catalyst using the evaluation method. SOLUTION: This activity evaluation method of the desulfurization catalyst is characterized as follows: the desulfurization catalyst is sulfurized and then xenon is adsorbed thereto; a 129 xenon NMR spectrum of the desulfurization catalyst to which xenon is adsorbed is measured; and the desulfurization activity of the desulfurization catalyst is evaluated from a chemical shift of a spectrum peak.
