PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new means for washing an indoor unit of a wall-embedded air conditioner in the condition wherein the indoor unit is installed. SOLUTION: In this washing method, a rectangular framework up to the ceiling is provided in front of the indoor unit at a distance from the wall having nearly a same thickness of the indoor unit, and the indoor unit is suspended by the rectangular framework, and the whole of the indoor unit is covered by a transparent vinyl sheet.
