PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a movable sheave smoothly without receiving harmful influence of air resistance in an inner space at the time of operation of a feeding screw mechanism by forming a flow passage communicating outside and the inner space of the feeding screw mechanism. SOLUTION: This transmission is provided with fixed sheaves 11, 13 provided with a conical inner surface, movable sheaves 12, 14 facing the conical inner surface of the fixed sheaves 11, 13 and provided with a conical inner surface forming a V-groove for winding belt and movably fitted on a shaft, and a feeding screw mechanism 7a, 7b for adjusting width of the V-grooves 8, 9. A flow passages 33a, 33b communicating an outside and the inner spaces 37a, 37b formed inside of a female screw member and a male screw member 16a, 16b are formed on the male screw members 16a, 16b side. Influence of air resistance is not easily received by making circulation of air between the outside and the inner spaces 37a, 37b via the flow passages 33a, 33b good. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
