PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure receiving a little influence of compressibility of air in a valve tester using air instead of oil. SOLUTION: This valve tester is provided with a pressure source 10 generating pressure, a jig part 9 sealing a port part 8c of a valve 8 which is an objective of measurement, a passage communicating with the pressure source 10 and a seal part, and a measuring part 6 provided in the passage 1 and measuring pressure in the passage. The measuring part 6 is provided via a communication passage extending in a roughly radial direction from the port part or in roughly radial direction from the passage in relation to a shaft of the valve 8 which is the objective of measurement.
