<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable waveform data being an editing object to be edited into waveform data whose acoustic connection is good musically even when a user does not perform complicated operations. <P>SOLUTION: In this waveform editing program, an editing condition which includes at least a desired range of the editing object and a cross fade area is set and waveform data which is acquired based on the set range of the editing object are divided into a plurality of waveform blocks. A prescribed editing mode is determined according to the operation of a user and waveform blocks corresponding to the range of the editing object among the plurality of waveform blocks are edited according to the determined editing mode. In this case, the set cross fade area is automatically adjusted and the plurality of waveform blocks are cross-fade connected mutually according to the automatically adjusted cross fade area. One continuous waveform data is newly formed like this. Since proper waveform editing is automatically performed according to the editing mode and the editing condition desired by the user in this manner, the user becomes able to edit easily the waveform data being the editing object into the waveform data whose acoustic connection is good musically even when the user does not perform complicated editing work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
