<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor and an electronic apparatus using it, in which the size of a vibrator is reduced but individual variation is small even at smaller size for less loss, resulting in a high conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element consists of two regions divided in widthwise direction. A first polarized region consists of one region. The other region consists of a second polarized region and a third polarized region divided in lengthwise direction. Otherwise, the piezoelectric element is divided in widthwise direction to provide two regions, with first region consisting of one region. The other region is further divided in lengthwise direction into three ; a second region, third region, and fourth region.
