<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source device for accurately detecting the closed conditions, occurring in heat exchangers, of drain discharging means for discharging drain. <P>SOLUTION: The heat source device 1 of a two-can and two-water type having cans 2, 3 comprises a latent heat collecting means 15 consisting of secondary heat exchangers 12, 13 for dominantly collecting latent heat of combustion gas, arranged on the downstream sides of primary heat exchangers 5, 6.
