PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication proxy device which assists a call terminating user who has not a communication device in hand. SOLUTION: The communication proxy device is composed of a body 101 and a mobile terminal 102. If a communication is originated from a communication device 106 of an originating user 109 to a communication device 103, an automatic response part 111 of the main part 101 responds, specifies the user name of the terminating side by speech recognition, and a presence information inquiry part 112 obtains presence information which shows present state of the terminating side user from a presence server 104. Next, a solution determination part 113 determines solution for the communication from the the originating side user 109 to the terminating side users 107-1 to 107-n based on the presence information, and a solution execution part 114 executes the solution. If a determined solution is to send the communication device used for the communication to the terminating side user, the solution execution part 114 emits a moving instruction to a mobile terminal 112, and carries the communication device 105 to the terminating side user.
