PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an excellent network by judgment of a user or automatic decision of a server in the case that a mobile terminal is connectable to a plurality of networks. SOLUTION: During communication with an opposite party 14 by utilizing a first network 12a, the mobile information terminal 11 detects another network 12b or detects deterioration in the reception state, and when the terminal 11 detects the other network or the reception state is deteriorated, a server system 13 automatically selects a network through which the terminal 11 is to continue its communication (ASP automatic selection) or provides a recommended network to the mobile information terminal, the mobile terminal side selects the network through which the mobile terminal is to continue its communication and informs the server system about the selected network (user selection) and continues its communication via the selected network under the control of the server system.
