PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone terminal capable of easily controlling its functions remotely. SOLUTION: An OS 13 with an external remote connection function runs on a control section 12 of the mobile phone terminal 10. The OS is e.g., the LINUX (R). A terminal 20 remotely accesses the mobile phone terminal 10 to control functions of the mobile phone terminal 10 by using a sophisticated shell operated under the OS 13 in the mobile phone terminal 10. A program for transmitting user data stored in a user data storage section 14 to a server apparatus 30, a program for deleting the user data from the mobile phone terminal 10, and a program for activating a GPS section 16 and a camera section 17 and other programs are prepared in advance for the mobile phone terminal 10, and the operation of each section can simply be executed by having only to start the programs from the terminal 20.
