PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock paper having a central core equipped with both of a preventing property for the generation of layer break of the stock paper having the central core and also a liner aptitude, i.e. jointly satisfying opposing characteristics of the prevention of the layer-break and improvement of the liner aptitude. SOLUTION: This stock paper having the central core having paper layers of a single layer or in a plurality of layers of≥2 layers is provided by setting≤0.344 static frictional coefficient of one side surface of the stock paper having the central core based on the JIS-P8147, and≥0.364 static frictional coefficient of another surface. Also the stock paper having the central core is provided by making≥2.00 orientation ratio (MD/CD) of fibers in flowing direction (MD) to side direction (CD) on the surface of paper pasted with the central core and≤1.70 orientation ratio of the fibers on another surface.
