FIBER FOR REINFORCING RADIATOR HOSE AND RADIATOR HOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber for reinforcing a radiator hose, having excellent high-temperature coolant resistance and sufficient durability and a radiator hose using the fiber. SOLUTION: The fiber for reinforcing a radiator hose comprises a fiber (A) composed of a polyamide (a) synthesized from a dicarboxylic acid component in which≥60 mol% of the dicarboxylic acid component is an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a diamine component in which≥60 mol% of the diamine component is a 6-12C aliphatic alkylenediamine and has≥90% tenacity retention rate after immersion in 50 wt.% ethylene glycol liquid at 120°C for 20 days.
