METHOD FOR PREVENTING ABRASION OF DOCTOR BLADE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing abrasion of doctor blades with which the abrasion speed of the doctor blades can be reduced and staining of press rolls can be prevented to readily perform process control of a pressing step of papermaking. SOLUTION: A fluorine organic compound dispersion is sprayed from nozzles 6 and 10 on the press rolls 2a and 3b in press parts 2 and 3 of a paper machine. The fluorine organic compound dispersion comprises 0.5 mass% of PTFE (tetrafluoroethylene homopolymer), 0.5 mass% of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, 95.0 wt.% of water and 3.0 wt.% of isopropyl alcohol. The average particle diameter of the PTFE is 0.05μm and the maximum particle diameter is 0.1μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
