CARBORANE DERIVATIVE NEW COMPOUND AND SELF-ASSEMBLED MEMBRANE MADE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-assembled membrane containing a reactive functional molecule, having sulfide or disulfide reactivity and usable by reacting with other functional molecules without inhibiting the reaction with the other functional molecules. SOLUTION: The new compound is a sulfide expressed by structural formula (1): R1-A-R-S-H or a disulfide expressed by structural formula (2): [R1-A-R-S]2(A is a paracarborane compound; R1is a functional substituent; and R is phenoxyethyleneglycoxybenzene group).
