PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake device braking a vehicle without making the vehicle unstable even when ignition is turned OFF. SOLUTION: The electric parking brake device 1 is provided with: a wheel speed sensor 57 for detecting a speed of the vehicle; an ignition sensor 33 for detecting the state of ignition; an actuator 13 for operating a parking brake 19 by pressing a friction material to a contact material by predetermined brake force F; and ECU 11 for operating the parking brake 19 on the actuator 13 when the ignition sensor detects Off of the ignition and adjusting the brake force F based on the speed detected by the wheel speed sensor 57 before the ignition sensor 33 detects OFF of the ignition.
