PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operation force required for storing a seat, in a seat storage structure for an automobile. SOLUTION: The seat storage structure for an automobile is equipped with a slide mechanism part 20 which displaces a seat 80 from a use position positioned on an upper stage floor panel 11 to car front F and projects the front part 81a of the seat 80 upward of the lower stage floor panel 12, and with a rotating mechanism part 30 which rotates the seat 80 displaced to the car front F with the slide mechanism part 20 so that the front part 81a of the seat 80 is dropped to the lower stage floor panel 12 and the rear part 81b of the seat 80 is sprung up, the rotation center 31 of the rotating mechanism part 30 being fixed to the floor panel 10.
