PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device accurately generating a three-dimensional image and accurately detecting the existence of the object even when taking a plurality of images for the same image pickup target with one imaging device. SOLUTION: The object detection device has: an image pickup means obtaining a parallax image by imaging the external part; an image processing means performing the image processing for the parallax image; and an object detection means detecting the object reflecting on the image based on the image processed by the image processing means. The image pickup means is equipped with: a single image pickup element; a light condensing means condensing a plurality of incident lights for the same image pickup range; and a light guiding means guiding the plurality of incident lights condensing with the light condensing means in a different area of the image pickup surface of the image pickup element so that the distance from the center of the image pickup surface becomes equivalent about the corresponding object.
