The telescopic unit is assembled of an outer bar (12) and an inner bar (11) partly accommodated inside the outer bar (12). A guiding sleeve (13) is attached to the inner surface of the inner bar (11) and a control sleeve (14) to the inner surface of the outer bar (12). Both sleeves (13, 14) are joined with an elastic strap (23) and can be adjusted and locked in the required position by engaging two pins (28) protruding from the control sleeve (14) with L-shaped slots (29, 30, 33) provided at the guiding sleeve (13).
