Paving module with individual paving slabs e.g. for car parks suitable for laying by machine with very little manual handling with modules held in stacks and layed to give two straight sides

The module contains a number of individual paving stones (12), and has a straight end (16) on one side (14). The end (18) on the opposite side (20) has at least one projection (22). At least two rows (30) of blocks extend from the first side and are aligned on that side, to form the straight end. The rows are of different lengths. On the second side, the longer block rows project over the shorter ones in longitudinal row direction, to form the projections. Long and short rows alternate in a direction (24) at right angles to the row direction. Opposite paving modules (6) are positioned relative to each other so that their projections face each other in alignment. The modules are held in stacks. Opposite modules define a gap into which paving blocks are fitted.
