ELECTRONIC CAMERA APPARATUS AND IMAGING SIGNAL GENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera apparatus capable of generating image data of an object with a recording format whereby imaged and generated image data can be transferred to an image recording and reproducing apparatus at a high speed without causing any deterioration.

SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is provided with: a digital video data generating means that generates digital video data including many video groups (GOP) each comprising a plurality of video frames on the basis of a video signal generated by imaging the object and provides address information related to a prescribed video frame (P picture) in the video group of the digital video data to a header (SH) of each video group; and a recording means for recording the digital video data to a recording medium.
