<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance precision of a current value in which a signal is outputted from a signal output circuit of a driving circuit to a pixel circuit including a current driving type electro-optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The signal output circuit 24 which is equipped with a transistor SWD1 for storing current and for outputting current and a transistor SW2 for holding a potential of a control terminal of the transistor SWD1 and in which the current value is stored by making a reference current Istd from a reference current line SCL flow to the transistor SWD1 via the transistor SW2 is provided. And in a period in which a digital to current conversion (DCC) circuit DC for transmitting the signal to the pixel circuit does not perform storing operation, a dummy DCC circuit DCd which has the same configuration as the DCC circuit and which outputs no signal is provided and the reference current Istd is always made to flow through either the DCC circuit DC or DCd.
