<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive lithographic printing plate precursor that is superior in printing durability and in chemical resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The lithographic printing plate precursor is obtained by sequentially disposing on a support an intermediate layer containing a polymer having a structure represented by Formula (I) in a side chain and an infrared laser sensitive positive recording layer, having a laminated structure of at least two or more layers, wherein the layer adjacent to the intermediate layer in the recording layer contains a polymer having a phenolic hydroxyl group.
