<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for a lithographic printing plate enabling on-machine development, which has excellent on-machine developing properties, prevents stains on an impression cylinder and emulsification, and exhibits excellent plate wear. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate for a lithographic printing plate is provided with an image recording layer on a support, which can be removed with a printing ink or a damping water or both of them, furthermore with a protecting layer on the image recording layer, which contains at least one type to be selected from a polymer obtained by partially modifying a polyvinyl-alcohol having not less than an 80 mol% saponification degree, and a copolymer having not less than a 50 mass% of polyvinyl-alcohol having not less than an 80 mol% saponification degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
